Lovely Professional University is rich in extracurricular activities. LPU organises more events than any other university in India, hence rendering one with rich and diverse experience of various cultures and religions around the globe. The games and extracurriculars are actually free of cost for the students as there is free access to the outdoor facilities of the sports. You can also contact DSA (Division of Student Association) for other extracurricular participation in LPU. Lovely Professional University is a place where talented students are more welcome. I got the 100% scholarship because of my Sports achievement which was organised by Indian government or Association of Indian Universities AIU. This scholarship is more than a merit holder or topper in any board or equivalent to that. If you have taken admission through sports quota in University then it is compulsory for the player to play for the university in any tournament in which he/she will represent the university at different levels. It is up to you for choosing any sport you like and take part in any sports activity. I got Sports Scholarship in my post graduation and it was compulsory for me to attend evening classes to maintain 75 % otherwise scholarship get cancelled. During the induction that is arranged for all the fresher's you will surely be motivated and advised to take part in some of the cultural events to enhance your qualities and confidence which will be beneficial for you. You can also get scholarships on the basis of your achievements in sports. Yes, LPU promote students all round development. LPU also bagged many awards in national sports competitions as well. There will be many fests happening in LPU. Also the students participating in those fests will be given attendance also. There is an block called DSA in which many student organizations will be there and conducts fests and workshops regularly. Some of the biggest fests include ONE INDIA, ONE WORLD, YouthVibe etc. Recently LPU also hosted Coke Studio.

Students enjoy these various sporting activities as a source of recreation by undertaking them as a stress buster or as an effective gateway to the University's Team. An enormous amount of sports meets and events are coordinated in a cyclic manner which provides countless opportunities for the students to involve themselves in university life. The university has a separate set of playgrounds especially for female students, adjoining their hostels for their securely.
