Does LPU provide admission on the basis of JEE-Mains rank and percentile?
I have completed my 2nd PUC and scored 84.45% (Karnataka board). I scored 45014 ranking (SC) with 52.46 percentile in JEE Mains.

Dear Pratik, LPU does consider JEE Mains for admission as well as scholarship, the details are as follows:
JEE (Main) percentile equal to more than 90 : 40% of fee for CSE and Robotics, 45% for all others. JEE Main percentile equal to or more than 85 but less than 90 : 30% of fee for CSE and Robotics, 35% for all others. JEE Main percentile equal to more than 80 but less than 85 : 20% of fee for CSE and Robotics, 25% for all others. However if your score in JEE Mains is below 80percentile, then you may not be eligible, and have to write LPU NEST and qualifiy it, the scholarships are similar in LPU NEST too. As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Yes, LPU provides admission on the basis of JEE Mains. You can get Admission in LPU with JEE scores. Recently I spoke to LPU counsellors for my brothers admission, they informed me all the details of admission. LPU provides admission on the basis of your scores in Board exams, LPU gives direct admission if your scores are 90% and above in board exams. Eligibility else is 60% in 12th and Entrance exam I. e. As per the recent announcement by LPU, candidate seeking admission in B.Tech programme can apply through the JEE Mains 2020 (Jan Schedule) scores. LPU has started Special Schedule Counselling. The candidates who have good scores in JEE Mains 2020, can appear in the counselling online and can confirm their admission. B.Tech in LPU requires a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST^. If you have a 90% + in your XIIth or 90 percentile in JEEMains then LPU NEST is exempted for the engineering courses. You can have many scales of scholarships based on your score of last qualification, LPU NEST. Categories, national level awards etc. First you can apply for admission and then book your LPU NEST. Yes, as per my knowledge, LPU is having well defined eligibility and scholarship policy regarding National Level Exams like JEE-Mains, GATE, UCEED, etc. and besides considering them for eligibility, it provides a good amount of scholarships.
