Does LPU take direct admission in MBA without entrance or through management quota?

There is NO MANAGEMENT QUOTA in LPU for any course. And MBA, being one of the most sought after courses, the admissions are taken on basis of merit and personal interviews. Hi Pratiksha, I stay near by LPU and I have witnessed the growth of LPU over the period of time. So, I can give you better answer. There is a big no to the Management Quota seats and there is no paid seat criteria. In fact, I have heard with the due course of time their School of Business studies are touching skies. There Admission intake has improved a lot, they have become very particular towards the quality of the student. Till previous year, they were conducting an Entrance exam LPU NEST + Interview as an eligibility criteria. Thus, now I would say that seeking an Admission in One of the Top Business School of India is not that easy. Anyways they are very loud and clear and flaunting while telling their achievements to the world but they are too sensitive to serve the society also. This year LPU NEST is exempted but still candidate has to qualify an Interview to get Admission. Due to COVID-19 threat, they have made eligibility a little relaxed this year 2020.

Hi, There is no management quota in LPU. You need to full fill the eligibility criteria, that is, pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). Relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) (10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University). Due to COVID, there is no entrance exam as of now but you need to go a skype interview which is mandatory. Start your process by the pre-admission formalities: Fill Application form Deposit application form fee which is 800/- for Boys and 500/- for Girls. Slot booking for interview Appear for Interview (Online Video Interview) Result declaration Then you proceed for the admission directly. Therefore, no quota but only skype interview can give you a place in the university which offers best placements in renowned companies. Seats are filling fast, so be smart to decide.

For admission in MBA, you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria, which states as pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). During this period of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, to support prospective students (candidates) to apply for admissions, direct online/remote admissions (subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria) process has been started. For MBA, university has started online Interview, which is mandatory to qualify and further, you can apply for test for scholarship purpose.

There is nothing like management quota in LPU. Also, MBA does not allow the direct admission, the eligibility criteria requires the 55 percentage marks in graduation and a candidate has to qualify interview to apply for the admission. For MBA the eligibility is student should Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent. To take admission in MBA student have to clear the interview and if you want to get a scholarship then you can give LPU NEST.
