Does Madurai Kamaraj DDE has value?

I dropped out of my regular degree last year and applied for a B.Com Distance Education course from Madurai Kamaraj University. I have written the exams on April 2018 and being waiting for the Certificates. But now I heard that this Certificate has no value. My concern is can I go for regular PG?
