    Different B-Schools use different techniques to impart knowledge to MBA students. Most common method of teaching and skill development used by colleges is Lectures, case analysis, simulation & business games and exercises, individual projects, group projects, group discussions, role play, conferences, industrial training, practical project work, guest lectures, etc. Theses techniques are in line with International Schools. Tier I B-Schools have their own repository of tools and sometime use International open courseware.     In the recent years, MBA pedagogy in Indian B-Schools has undergone lot of changes. Different B-Schools use different techniques to impart knowledge to MBA students.     There are two kinds of management courses.
    1. Masters in Management: This course is for freshers, those who are straight out of under graduate college or those who have 1-2 years of experience. Hence, this course is more theory based with some emphasis on practical problems and case studies.
    2. MBA (Masters in Business Administration): This course is for people having some managerial experience and hence don't need much theory about the same.

    MBA curriculum in most colleges consists of a mix of theory and practice. In fact, there will be more practice and less theory. In this aspect, case studies are considered to be the best way to simulate a practical scenario in the classroom. Thus, many colleges would prefer to include as many case studies as possible in every concept that is taught.
    In top international B-Schools like Harvard, case studies are given a lot of importance. On an average, a student has does at least 2 case studies a day. In Indian B-Schools as well, the importance of case studies is increasing day by day.
