Does MHCET ask for domicile certificate for the admission in government colleges of Maharashtra under it?

WBJEE asks for domicile certificate for admission to government colleges of West Bengal but there is no requirement for colleges other than government ones. Does MHCET has a similar rule for admission in government college?

Hi, Yes, they prefer domicile students as 85% seats are reserved for Maharashtra candidates and 15% for all Indian candidates. So, if you are not from Maharashtra you need to score more than 150 out of 200 to get any good government or private colleges.

Hello, Maharashtra has quite strict rules about domiciliary of a candidate. Please download brochure and read carefully. Only after all who registered for counseling have finished admissions, colleges that have vacant seats can get students from other states.
