Students seeking to join the institute need to meet both the basic eligibility and selection criteria to be eligible for admission. Candidates need to participate in the state-level counselling for seat allotment to the BTech

No, MIT Chennai does not offer direct admission to candidates. Admissions to these courses are entrance-based. However, candidates can apply for direct admission to the MSc course, since admissions to the same are merit-based. The candidates have to meet the eligibility and come through the mandator
