Does my friend need to pursue MBBS first to do MD from India? If yes, will the duration for doing MBBS+MD reduce due to his degree?

What is the procedure to be followed & estimated cost like fee? What should he do to get a scholarship? He preferably is looking for AIIMS or some good colleges in Maharashtra. He did Bachelors in genetic engineering & biotechnology from the University of Philadelphia & wants to do MD in India.

Yes, you can. Any graduation course which legally allows you to practices medicine or alternate medicine can do MD. No, the number of years does not get reduced.
