yes jee marks are required, if your percentage is above 94 than also you can get

JEE marks count in the quality of college u r going to get admitted in. colleges accept applications based on the performance in jee tests

There are some colleges that take their own entrance tests like bits, Manipal, vit Vellore, srm, IPU delhi and their are also state entrance exams. These colleges do not take JEE score. Other than these you need a good jee score.

If you get good marks in JEE mains, then apply for Government colleges for pursue B. Tech.

Yes , it is necessary to consider Jee mains score to get admission in any engineer collage for b.tech and B.E.

if u r gng of IIT's or NIT'S JEE is the only way to get admission....and for other college thy hav there own criteria u can search on online blogs for there own admission process...and now a days 90% universities take students from JEE score too
