    National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology Gorakhpur (NIELIT Gorakhpur) Centre was established as the Centre for Electronics Design & Technology of India (CEDTI) in June 1989. It is an Autonomous Scientific Society under the administrative control of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India.

    National Institute of electronics and information technology group are have good placements. The reason being the most of the students in this institute are able to learn and understand which courses which are offered by the institute with a lot of events and activities held in the institute. This institute have good placements, as most of the students are able to get accepted into companies and if there is any student who has a low chance, the teachers provide them with extra classes and teach them to improve themselves. Also the placement are dependent on the students willpower.
