Does NET exam not include maths subject? Which subjects can I apply for?

    Hi Sathya,
    As you are from Maths stream and maths subject is covered by CSIR-NET. You are supposed to apply for CSIR-NET. This exam is mainly conducted for the Post-Graduation students who are from Science stream
    CSIR-NET is conducted in 5 subjects excluding the compulsory subject which is General Aptitude.
    1. Life Sciences
    2. Chemical Sciences
    3. Physical Sciences
    4. Mathematical Sciences
    5. Earth Sciences.

    Maths paper is taken by CSIR UGC NET, so you need to give that exam. Detailed information you can get from csirhrdg. Res. In site. Good luck.

No. candidate can not submit the UGC NET application form offline. It was released on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The application form was released online on October 7. All the process of the online form including the registration, document upload, fee payment, confirmation, etc. must be completed online by visiting the official website.
