    In its bid to support talented youths, Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) provides scholarships to its students. Scholarship breakdown: About 50 percent of students are on scholarships whether full or partial. Types of scholarships: Government of India scholarships which include 20%; NSNIS merit scholarships which is 15%; Sports Authority of India scholarships which are 10% and state government scholarships 5%. Average scholarship amount: Rs 50000-1,00,000 per annum and the management offers full scholarship to first rankers, second rankers, and students from the low income group (5- 10 %).
