Candidates must have completed their 10 + 2 education or possess a one-year ITI certificate after class 10. Students can also enrol in a DOEACC 'O' Level certification course while studying in the third year of a Polytechnic course.

Candidates must have completed 12th standard or an ITI certificate after completing class 10th which is to be followed by the 'O' level DOEACC course.
