Does NIT Trichy have any admission criteria for M.Tech in industrial safety engineering?

There is no such course as industrial safety engineering in NITT. We do have Production engineering for Under graduates and Manufacturing technology ; Industrial Engineering and Management for Post graduates. And the placements are not as it was a few years back, since the field of production and industrial is moving more towards data analytics most of the jobs have become more on desk with a computer in front. SO the job prospects mostly lean towards software and analytics, but then you also get placed in core companies,which has a bleak chance. I can assure you on getting placed in a company for sure with tag of NITT associated to you. But if you wish to find a core company for you, sorry bro its going to be tough and also they are going to pay you very less a salary. Candidate must have completed B.E./ B.Tech. in relevant stream. Candidates having GATE score in 2017 will be given preference over candidates having score of 2018, or 2019. In qualifying degree, the candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) for Gen/ OBC or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST. In case, result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a candidate subject to meeting above minimum qualifying degree requirements latest by September 16, 2019. The candidates who possess certification from any of the professional societies (IE, ICE, IETE, AeSI, IIChemE, IIM, IIE).
