Further, on Normalisation, marks scored by a candidate in a subject may become more or less than the actual marks scored by him/her. In exceptional cases Normalised marks may become more than the maximum marks of that subject. The normalisation of marks is done to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers spread across various sessions. The marks of candidates are made available based on the normalised scores
