Does one need to qualify for the NEET exam to get into a B.Sc. Nursing college?

Hi, No, NEET is not compulsory/ mandatory for B.Sc. Nursing. It's just that nursing colleges are free to choose NEET as their entrance examination but as of now only a few nursing colleges like BHU, Indian Army B.Sc. Nursing, JIPMER, IPU, etc. Have started accepting NEET for B.Sc. Nursing. Without NEET you can get admission through other entrance examinations like:- AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing entrance exam RUHS Nursing entrance exams CMC Ludhiana B.Sc. Nursing entrance KGMU Nursing entrance exam Uttarakhand Nursing Entrance Exam. The general eligibility criteria is that one should have at least 50 % in 12th board examination with Physics Chemistry and Biology. Admission in B.Sc. Nursing is generally on the basis of college level /state level/national level entrance examination.

Yes, students who are willing to study B.Sc. Nursing (Hons. ). Courses must appear for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Job after B.Sc. Hope the information provided below is useful B.Sc Nursing Admissions Through NEET:- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare replaced the 73 year old Indian Nursing Council ACT of 1947 with the National Nursing and Midwifery Commission Bill 2020. There are numerous entrance exams conducted in India for admission to UG and PG nursing courses by various state governments and medical institutions. To avoid various entrance exams, the authorities conduct a common entrance test for integrating the entire system. For this reason the NEET was introduced for various medical courses. Hello Fellow student, Yes, you need to qualify for the NEET exam to get into a B.Sc. Nursing College, the general qualification criteria is 55% marks for general, 45% for OBC, 30-40% for SC/ST. Although private colleges may or may not take any entrance exam into account, and you'll be solely judged on your 12th standard performance.
