    Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme.
    So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.

    Yes, the percentage of 12th standard matters.
    In order to get admission in CSE there is an eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the student.
    For B.Tech(CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST.
    For B.Tech CSE(Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English , Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST.
    The candidates have to appear for LPUNEST.

    Dear Prachi,
    At LPU, to get admission to the BTech in the CSE programme, apart from the 12th class marks, you need to qualify for the LPUNEST exam or you should have a minimum of 85 percentile in JEE Mains exam.
    I have done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE.

    LPUNEST is mandatory for B.tech to get admission in LPU
    TheEligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Mains.
