Does percentage in B.Tech matter to pursue MS from Germany?
If yes, why are no cut-offs mentioned on Shiksha Study Abroad's website? Can anyone help me with a way or a website which tell us about the required percentage for different colleges?

Dear Jaspal,
Yes, B.Tech percentage does matter in pursuing MS courses in Germany. However Universities do not mention and specific cut-off on their site because of 2 reasons:-
1. Universities abroad evaluate a person's overall profile than just specific scores. For ex: - 10th, 12th, Bachelors scores, work experience (if any), extra-curricular etc.
2. As Vikas rightly pointed out, cut-offs for admission keep changing from year to year depending upon the type of applications received. However they are generally very high for German Public Universities. -
Hi Jaspal, I don't think any website will display that information because these are university's specific decisions, it will change from year to year depending on the number of applicants their whole profile etc. Why Shiksha has not mentioned it is may be because of this reason. Talking about percentage, academics are most important in Germany. Its not mentioned directly anywhere because this has been a trend - German universities only admit brilliant students not below average. You can check DAAD website and visit university websites for details.
