Does Post graduate diploma in management (say eg, inE-business/Operations) by DISTANCE LEARNING MODE really adds value into your career?

I am a BSc IT graduate from Mumbai University, Now I am seeking to take admission to any DEC approved institute & pursue their Management (say eg PGDM-e business/ PGDM Operations) course via DISTANCE LEARNING MODE. Does it really have any value in the job market? Please guide me. Thanks.
