Does Presidency University, Kolkata offer better placements than Jadavpur University?

On the other hand, Presidency University reports a median package of INR 3.20 lakhs</p>

<p>The highest package offered during Jadavpur placements 2023 was 85 Lacs per annum. It was offered to a student of the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department. More than 1,000 students were recruited during Jadavpur University placements of 2023. 100% of Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering students got placements. 98% from the Electronics and Telecommunications Department got placment. 97% got placements from&nbsp; lower Engineering, Computer Science, IT, and Printing Engineering.&nbsp;</p><p>Whereas, according to the NIRF report of Presidency University, Kolkata 2023, a total of 52 out of 792 UG and PG students were placed during placements 2022. The median package offered to UG 3rd year was 4 Lacs per annum and PG 2nd year was 7.4 Lacs per annum. Additionally, a decrease of over 43% was observed in the median package offered to UG 3rd year students during placements 2022 compared 2021. Further, an increase of 3% was observed in the median package offered to PG 2nd year students during placements 2022 compared to 2021.</p><p>Therefore Jadavpur University offers better placements than Presidency University.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
