    Hi Ishwarya,
Yes, PSGIM accepts all three TANCET, MAT, CAT and AIMA scores for admission. TANCET is alone a government quota. Based on the TANCET scores, you have to separately apply for counselling and only if you get PSG in counselling, you can join in PSGIM. For admission through other three entrance tests, you have to write any of the three tests, and apply in college website, and admission process is through GD, and PI.

    Hello Ishwarya,
Yes, PSGIM do accept TANCET score for pursuing MBA. There is a separate counseling for TANCET scores. You can also apply through MAT and CAT scores. If you have CAT and MAT score you can try both for MBA and PGDM and these CAT and MAT scores have separate counseling. All the best.

Yes, Besides TANCET PSGIM accepts scores for other entrance exams, including MAT CAT and AIMA for MBA Admission. Solely TANCET is enough to avail a seat under the government quota. Candidates aspiring for admission to PSGIM based on TANCET scores need to participate in the TANCET counselling conducted by DTE, Chennai. Only the candidates getting the PSGIM allotment during the general counselling process can join the college for admission. Candidates who wish to participate in the PSGIM admission process based on any other entrance exam have to appear for the specific exam and apply at the college website. Further, such candidates will

TANCET is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu for admission to various postgraduate programs, including MBA. In addition to TANCET PSGIM also considers other national-level entrance exams like CAT (Common Admission Test) and MAT (Management Aptitude Test) for admission to its MBA programme. Candidates can apply to PSGIM through any of these entrance exams. However, the admission process at PSGIM is not solely based on entrance exam scores. The

  • It accepts all 3. Fee structure depends on these exams. If you get in through TANCET Fees will be comparatively lesser than entering through MAT or CAT.

PSGIM accept TANCET MAT CAT. You won't apply separately for PSGIM if you write TANCET. You can get PSGIM through Anna University counselling for TANCET. There won't be GD, PI if you go through TANCET. For MAT CAT you have to attend GD PI. You have to apply separately, if you go through CAT, MAT.

Getting into the MBA programme of NIT Trichy with a 300 SC CAT rank is somewhat uncertain. As the recent data sets suggest, NIT Trichy's CAT cutoff for SC category admission stands around 65th percentile. A 300 SC rank could be borderline depending on how many SC candidates apply and the quality of the overall candidate pool.
In CAT marks terms, to reach around the 300 SC rank, you'd likely need a CAT percentile of 65–70, which roughly translates to a CAT score of about 60–65 out of 198, assuming the normalization and difficulty remain similar.
