    As far I know, in some colleges, it is allowed that student from other branches ,other than CSE can pursue his MTech in CSE but under some conditions. You have to write your GATE paper in CSE. Directly, other branches are not admitted as MTech is a research field and without knowledge. Colleges won't admit any non-BTech CSE into CSE in MTech.

    No, M.Tech can be pursued if you are a B.Tech aspirant only. No other aspirant can do it. Kindly Look for any other better option.
