    RMIT University accepts a range of English tests for admissions of international students. The English Language requirements for international applicants are given as follows:

    ExamScore Required for UGScore Required for PG

    IELTS (Academic) 

    6.5 (no band less than 6.0)

    7.0 (no band less than 6.5)

    TOEFL IBT

    Overall score 79

    Overall score 94

    PTE Academic

    Minimum 58 (no communication band less than 50)

    Minimum 65 (no communication band less than 58)

    For admission to RMIT, international students are required to submit a proof of English language proficiency. IELTS (Academic) score can be submitted in order to take admission to RMIT. Note that IELTS (General) is not accepted for admission to programs at RMIT University. The required IELTS score for Higher Education courses (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Higher Degree by Research) can range from 6.5 – 8.0. The applicants are required to check the minimum English language requirement needed for their preferred program.
