Saskatchewan Polytechnic provides over CAD 2 million in student awards every school year. Generally international student is eligible for academic merit scholarships and awards that do not include financial need as a selection criterion. However, the scholarships and awards are provided if the applicant meets all selection and eligibility criteria requirements. Students are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement, or often, a combination of the two. Volunteer or leadership involvement in communities and schools play a dominant role in selecting the applicant for awards.
