Tamil Nadu Fisheries University ensures placement only to the extent of 26% of its students, which happens to be the placement statistic for students, especially under B.F.Sc in the last reports received. Only some of them could find employment in appropriate fields. The highest salary package that the university has so far reported to the students is around INR 2.7 lakhs per annum. While TNFU provides much support through its placement cell and even offers internships to some extent, the actual placements vary considerably across students.
