Does Tezpur University accept CUET for admission in BTech?

<p>CUET-UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA whose score card/ rank helps in taking admission in all major UG courses besides BTech. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech must take the JEE-Main exam, which is also a national-level entrance exam but mainly for admission to BE/ BTech in various government and private universities and colleges.</p><p>Also, Tezpur University accepts admission in its BTech course based on the scorecard/ rank of JEE-Main. For lateral entry to BTech, the candidate needs to take Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE), which is TU's own entrance exam.</p><p>Candidates must prepare well for the examination described above because only a good rank above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by TU will make the applicant eligible for further counselling rounds followed by document verification and fee payment.</p>
