Thane has very limited MBBS options compared to cities like Mumbai or Pune. Rajiv Gandhi Medical College in Kalwa is the only government MBBS college in the city, with admission based on NEET UG scores. Most other medical institutes in Thane offer paramedical or physiotherapy courses instead of MBBS
