    Yes, Thapar University (TIET Patiala) does have a North-east (NE) reservation quota towards pursuing B.Tech (BE) course. The most important details are as follows:

    B.Tech, North-East Seats
    1 supernumerary seat/per discipline is reserved to students of North Eastern (E.g. Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim) states

    Such seats are in addition to the normal intake in every engineering discipline


    Conditions of eligibility of NE quota applicants are:

    Residence in one of the northeast states

    With 10+2 passed in the respective state
