4 years in NIFT as the first year is a foundation programme. Otherwise in most of the private colleges it's 3 years. -

I don't know whether the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata offers B.Des in fashion design course or not. But being alumni of LPU, I would say that LPU offer 3 years and 4-year course in this programme,
