Does the eligibility of JEE Mains counselling require one to clear cut-off for JEE Advanced or it is totally based on AIR?

Separate admissions for JEE Mains scores (for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs) and JEE Advanced scores (for IITs). They both have different cut off scores and hence, you will have a different ranking for each exam. The admission is completely based on AIR which is through the JoSAA counseling. -
No, for JEE Main counseling not required to clear JEE Advanced cut-off, but again your JEE Main rank should be good.
