does the gate score card help in getting a better job in any IT industry in India?

I am pursuing b.tech in computer science and i knew gate scores are required for PG programmes but somebody told me that it even helps in getting a good job in an IT company.Is it true?if yes,then what is that 'exact' score for getting a job?

GATE score has no relevance in IT industry. It is required now a days not only for PG courses but also for PSU companies and teaching jobs. GATE score card is given to only those who score around 30 marks (gen category). It is not that if you score certain marks then you will get the job but instead
