Does the institute offer real time placement opportunities? I have my name in the 2nd waiting list (General Category) of XISS.

Congrats! There is a fair chance of your final selection and as far as the placement is concerned only 12 students have been placed till now. So if you have interest in IT and you are ready to work hard then you are welcome in XISS. All the very best
