Does the open univercity diploma engineering students can apply any AICTE approved engineering collage for their graduation ?

I am doing mechanical engineering diploma in YASHWANTRAO CHAVAN MARASHTRA OPEN UNIVERCITY , this course is equivalant to MSBTE diploma course . After complition of this course can I apply for degree in any AICTE approved institute ?

Open University Degree & Diploma candidates cannot apply for AICTE approved colleges because Engineering Degree & Diploma in Distance in not approved by AICTE.
