Does the University of Houston waive application fee?

<p>International first-time freshmen may qualify for an application fee waiver. Students can complete the National Association for College Admissions Counseling Fee Waiver Form and submit a PDF copy through myUH account. Applicants must provide their personal information and must meet at least one of the following indicators of financial need:</p><ul><li>Students must be eligible to receive an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver</li><li>He/ she must be eligible to participate in the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch programme (FRPL)</li><li>Applicant's annual family income falls within the income Eligibility Guidelines* set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service</li><li>The student&rsquo;s family receives public assistance</li><li>The student lives in federally subsidized public housing, a foster home, or is homeless</li><li>The student is a ward of the state or an orphan</li><li>Other requests from the high school principal, high school counselor, financial aid officer, community advisor/leader or</li><li>other official who can attest to the student's circumstances</li></ul><p><em><strong>Note</strong>: If no item is checked from the above list, the request will be denied.</em></p>
