Does this college has an attachment of sending the players to the trails if selected for the district or state zone?

Does this college has a cricket team or does it compete with club players or any process by which if a player is performing well in the team then can he can have a chance of getting selected in the district or state team? Is its team linked with the cricket association or is it just for fitness?
