I do not have idea about this University but i do know about LPU. Masters in Business Administration offers various areas of specialization like Management, Finances, Operations, Hotel Management, Public Relations, Human Resources, Information, and Technology. A career in MBA is not only progressive but also brings with it many perks. I have done my MBA from LPU and it has helped me grow professionally and also helped in providing exposure in terms of placements, internship, workshops, guest lectures etc. So, surely it a better University to join. No, IIM-Ahmedabad offers MBA in general management only. Having said that, a student can choose their own specialization by choosing his/her electives according to his/her area of interest. But the final degree certificate will not specify any specialization as such. Only PGP/MBA degree in general management is awarded.

Hi.

1. MBA – Post Graduate Programme (PGP)

This is IIM Ahmedabad's flagship master's degree in management (equivalent to MBA).
Duration: 2 years, full‑time residential.
Admission Test: CAT (Common Admission Test) for Indian candidates.
Then shortlisting → Written Ability Test (WAT) → Personal Interview (PI).

Application Procedure

Register and apply online on the official IIM Ahmedabad admissions portal during the application window (starts after CAT results).
Pay the application fee online (fee and exact dates are announced each year on the IIMA site).
Submit CAT score and academic records.
Shortlisted candidates go through WAT & PI.
Final offers are based on CAT score + academics + WAT & PI performance.

Fee Structure

Must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).

For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Ahmedabad, the CAT test is usually conducted in November. Aspirants of IIM Ahmedabad are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
