Placements is a very dynamic subject. Of course sincere management and an excellent team go a long way in providing students best of the opportunities for placements. But then economic and industrial condition of the country plays an important role in this whole business of placements. When the things are going good even lower ranked colleges get recruiters and place their students, but in hard times even the best of colleges including IIT's find it tough to place their students.
