Bro, I would suggest you to focus on your studies,hard work and dedication and make yourself better every next day. Chemical engineering is an evergreen subject. A great choice. but u should not think about placement above 10 lakhs PA. The highest package was 5 lakhs for Chem. Eng. in the recent past. That is not bad at all for freshers. Go ahead. All the best. -

There are few companies from local industries who hires Chemical engineers in campus recruitments. The maximum package offered by them is up to 5 lakhs per annum.

They do provide placements in local companies in nearer regions. But only few percent students get placed. Don't expect more than 5 LPA.
