Does TTC of regular two years after graduation equivalent to B.Ed? Till what classes is one eligible to teach after doing TTC?

    Hi,
    The qualifications you will require will depend on the level of teaching you want to opt for. The schooling system in India comprises of pre-school, elementary, secondary and senior secondary stages. The elementary stage is split into primary and the upper-primary stages. Schooling is offered in formal, non-formal and distance modes. Teacher education courses, therefore, are matched with the requirements of the concerned stage and the mode of schooling. Pre Primary Teacher Primary school teachers should preferably be 12th class pass with at least 50% marks aggregate.
