Does UBC require IELTS?

<p>Students from non-native countries or any other background whose first language is not English must prove their English language proficiency before entering the University of British Columbia. The IELTS requirements vary for undergraduate and graduate programs. The <strong>UG students</strong> must score a <strong>minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or above</strong> and <strong>graduate students must score between 6.5 and 7</strong>.
