The UI and UX Design course is about a design-centric approach to user interfaces and experiences. In this course, you will need to sketch quite often to put your ideas on paper and software. However, you do not do lots of artist-level drawing. The UI and UX are more about problem solving and creative thinking. Basic drawing skills are simply used to convey the ideas. In UX design, your work is centered around the user and their requirements. It's all about how well you express your ideas to your users. Therefore, it does require drawing, but at a basic level.
