Yes, UIET Chandigarh offer direct entry to second year of BE course. Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering of minimum three or two years duration with Physics and Mathematics with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ BC/ PwD) to apply for BE (LE). Aspirants who have completed DVoc stream from Polytechnic college with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ BC/ PwD) can also apply.
