The University of Hamburg offers various merit-based scholarship schemes to Indian students with exceptional academic records. Students are required to apply for the scholarship scheme before the deadline to avail the benefits of the scholarships offered by the University of Hamburg. Scholarships based on merit are granted for a duration of 2 semesters, equivalent to 12 months. Students are adviced to reapply for the scholarship after 12 months or submit another application for the scholarship. In some special, justified and outstanding situations, the maximum period of funding can extend up to 3 years.
