Does University of Kashmir offer scholarships to students?

<div><div><div><div><p>The University offers a variety of merit-based scholarship to the deserving candidates. The scholarship programme of the University has been categorized into three: Merit Scholarship, Research Scholarship and Students Aids.</p><ol><li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Merit Scholarship</strong></li></ol><p>Students taking admission in the University are eligible for the scholarship on the basis of entrance exam scores for a particular course. Scholarship will be given to top two merit holders.</p><ol start="2"><li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Research Scholarship</strong></li></ol><p>There are four scholarships in each Department/Research Centre will be given to students perusing Ph D degree. The amount will be paid annually to cover miscellaneous expenses.</p><ol start="3"><li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Students Aids</strong></li></ol><p>The University also offers scholarship to the meritorious ones who fall under low-income group.
