Does University of Maryland Baltimore County give financial aid to international students?

<p>UMBC offers scholarships or funding opportunities to international students through some of the following ways:</p><ul type="disc"><li>Scholarships for international students are offered at the time of admission which will be in the form of merit scholarships. Some scholarships are offered for current students as well. These scholarships are offered based on their grades and test scores that have been submitted with their application</li><li>The graduate international students can be eligible to receive funding through an Assistantship which can be a part of teaching, Research and Graduate. Assistantship offers are given by the respective academic department which based on the application documents</li><li>International students of UMBC are ineligible for Federal Student Aid and institutional need-based financial aid.</li></ul>
