Does University of Rochester require SAT for Indian students?

Yes. Rochester plans to keep granting admission to students whose "other" test scores support the overall merit of their application. Rochester will continue to consider test submissions other than the SAT or ACT. Rochester's test-flexible application option can be satisfied by a number of tests for students who decide to apply based on their test scores. Any of the following examinations will satisfy our test-flexible application option: SAT Reasoning; apply code 2928 to waive the essay requirement. Results from two or more of the following tests: SAT Subject Exams; AP; International Baccalaureate;* The University of Rochester will accept your reported SAT Reasoning, SAT Subject Test, ACT, or completed Andhra Pradesh test results for the purposes of admission evaluation.
