    Yes, the University of Victoria requires international students to submit their IELTS test score to prove proficiency in the English language. However, besides IELTS, international students can submit the test scores of othern English test such as TOEFL. Check below the minimum English language requirement for international students applying for the University of Victoria.

    IELTS6.5, with no component less than 6.06.5 with no individual component can have a score lower than 6.0
    TOEFL iBT90, with no section less than 2090 with at least 20 points each in the listening, speaking, reading and writing sections
