Does VBSPU Jaunpur offer merit-based admissions?

<p>VBSPU Jaunpur admissions are primarily entrance-based. While admission to some of the courses is based on the university-conducted entrance exam, namely the VBSPU Jaunpur Combined Admission Test PUCAT admission to the remaining courses is conducted through national-level entrance exams, including JEE Main UPCET etc. Candidates are only admitted to the university after passing the PUCAT test, which is administered yearly. English is the language of the admission test, which is administered offline. For all programmes, PUCAT is in MCQ style. VBS Purvanchal University, the organisation in charge of organising the test, has established the PUCAT test Pattern and Scoring System.</p>
