Yes, VIT Bhopal offers scholarships based on entrance exam score or qualifying exam marks. Students must fulfil the requirements to avail the scholarship benefits. The criteria of scholarship varies course-wise. A maximum of 100% waiver is offered under the merit scholarship. The university offers scholarships to BTech, MBA, Integrated MSc and BArch students.

VIT scholarships are available to only those students who have secured a rank under 1,000 in the VITEEE examination. The scholarship ranges from 25-100% of fees depending upon the rank of the student in the qualifying examination. The university also provides Central Sector Scheme Of Scholarship For College And University Students, Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces And Assam Rifles, Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship For Professional And Technical Courses, etc.
