Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute mainly intake students in the BTech course through MH-CET whose supervisory body is Department of Technical Education (DTE) under the Government of Maharashtra. Also, the VJTI follows guidelines and other instructions laid down by MH-CET.

Apart from MH-CET, there is an ambiguity whether Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute accepts JEE-Main score/ rank or not because there is no exact information available on the official website of VJTI. For further clarity on this issue the student should consult the admission cell of the college.

VJTI (Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute) in Mumbai accepts JEE Main scores as admission to its BTech programmes. Along with JEE Main, VJTI uses MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) marks for admission. Candidates wishing to join VJTI should ensure that they match the institute's eligibility criteria, which normally include a valid score in either JEE Main or MHT CET, as well as meeting other academic and residency requirements as per Maharashtra State guidelines.

    • MHT-CET Takes Priority: The primary entrance exam for BTech admissions at VJTI is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET). This is the state-level engineering entrance exam for Maharashtra.
    • JEE Main for All-India Seats: VJTI uses JEE Main scores to fill seats for candidates from outside Maharashtra. This provides an opportunity for students across India.

Here's a breakdown of how JEE Main scores are used:

    • Non-Zero Score Preferred: While there's no official preference between JEE Main and MHT-CET, a non-zero JEE
